A network of tracks of about 80 km crosses the extensive plateau of the Seiser Alm. This is not a meeting place only for cross-country skiing professionals. In winter, Lake Völser Weiher is often covered by a thick layer of ice and turns into a popular ice rink, no less attractive than the slopes at the sports centre of Telfen, in Kastelruth at the Sporthütte restaurant or in the centre of Seis, also suitable for curling. Who can do the best pirouettes? Skates for children and adults can be rented on the spot.
Wrapped in soft blankets and accompanied by the sound of horse hooves, you come into close contact with the winter landscape.
